JOEY DAWSON, APRN

 Joey Dawson, APRN, is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Elite. He specializes in addiction treatment. With a comprehensive background in primary health care, Joey brings extensive experience in health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of both acute and chronic conditions. 

At Elite, Joey plays a vital role in treating patients with opioid and alcohol addictions. He is skilled in providing individualized counseling and support to help patients overcome dependencies and achieve sobriety. Joey is proficient in prescribing and managing Suboxone and Subutex doses, tailoring treatments to meet each patient's specific needs. Additionally, he prescribes Naltrexone to assist with alcohol addiction recovery.

Joey earned his Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Florida Atlantic University and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indian River State College. He is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and holds an active DEA certificate, along with certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
